How to Reach Shubhraangan (Velhe, Pune)

Shubhraangan is in Khambawadi, Velhe (Pune district). approx. ~40 km (1–1.5 hrs) from Pune, ~200 km (3.5–4 hrs) from Mumbai, and ~90 km (1.5–2 hrs) from Satara, with three suggested routes: scenic via Pabe (no toll), scenic via Shivapur (no toll), or a fastest route with one toll.

The three recommended routes

Scenic via Pabe Ghat (no toll): Whether you’re coming from Pune or Mumbai, start at Warje –> Khadakwasla –> Pabe Ghat –> Take a left when you reach NH65 Nasrapur-Velhe road –> Shubhraangan will be on your right at the beginning of Khambawadi village, right after Vinzar.
Scenic via Shivapur (no toll): Whether you’re coming from Pune or Mumbai, cross the New Katraj Tunnel, and take the service road at Kondhanpur Phata and turn right towards Shivapur / Sinhgad –> Turn left at Shivapur Vada, keep heading straight –> Turn left at Wangni –> Take a right once you reach NH65 Nasrapur Velhe road –> Shubhraangan will be on your left at the farther end of the village Khambawadi.
Fastest Route via NH4 (one toll): Whether you’re coming from Pune or Mumbai, take the NH4 towards Bangalore and cross the toll station at Khed Shivapur –> exit the highway and take the service road just before Nasrapur –> Take a right at Cheladi Phata (Nasrapur) –> Keep heading straight for about 18 kms –> Shubhraangan will be on your left at the farther end of the village Khambawadi.

Conveyence options

You can reach Shubhraangan either by public or private transport from Pune.

Public Transport: PMPML Bus #296 starting from Katraj; Destination: Khambawadi.

Choose either of the three routes mentioned above to reach Shubhraangan from Mumbai or Pune.

When travelling from Satara, take the NH4 from Satara to Pune –> make a right at Cheladi Phata (Nasrapur) –> head straight on NH65 Nasrapur-Velhe road –> Shubhraangan will be on your left at the farther end of the village Khambawadi.

The on-site parking can accommodate up to 3 cars at once.

House rules (couples stay)

Cabins are non-smoking; guests may step outdoors to smoke. Alcohol is not served; guests may carry their own while respecting the surroundings. Guests without a confirmed booking are not allowed to enter the property.

What are the check-in and check out times?

The check-in time is 2 pm, and the check out time is 11 am.

What IDs are required at check-in?

A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport / Driver’s License / Voter ID) is required. PAN card is NOT accepted. Foreign nationals/NRIs can present Passport with a valid Visa.

Are outside visitors allowed inside the property?

Guests without a confirmed booking are NOT allowed to enter the property.
