Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring the smooth operation of the resort. The following refund structure applies to the standard bookings, NOT on offer bookings:

• 100% Refund: Cancellations made more than 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the Check-In date will receive a full refund.
• 50% Refund: Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days (1 to 2 weeks) before the Check-In date will receive a 50% refund.
• No Refund: Cancellations made less than 7 days (1 week) before the Check-In date will not be eligible for a refund.

Refundable Security Deposit
A fully refundable security deposit of ₹3,000 is required upon check-in to cover any incidental charges. This amount will be promptly returned to you at check-out following a satisfactory property inspection. Any damages exceeding this amount will be billed directly to the guest.

Property Location & Seasonal Cycles
Our premium cabins are nestled on the quiet outskirts of a small, remote village, offering an authentic rural escape that is vastly different from a typical urban or highly commercialised resort. Because we are completely embraced by nature, our landscape transitions beautifully with the seasons. Guests visiting during peak summer months should expect a drier, rustic natural setting compared to our lush, green look during the monsoon and winter seasons.

Service Expectations
Shubhraangan is designed as an independent, serene escape focused on privacy and slow living. Our property and services are lovingly maintained by a dedicated team of local village women and a caretaker. Please note that we do not operate as a commercial 5-star hotel with round-the-clock room service. While our on-site team is dedicated to assisting you promptly during daytime hours, services are not available 24/7.

Natural Pool & Jacuzzi Conditions
Our outdoor plunge pools and jacuzzis are nestled directly under natural tree canopies. This means occasional outdoor wildlife, leaves, twigs, or local insects, small reptiles may be present or may fall in the pool or jacuzzi. Rest assured, we filter the pool with reliable filtration systems for cleanliness and safety after each use, but they remain part of an open, natural ecosystem.

Rural Utilities & Connectivity
To preserve our peaceful atmosphere, we are located away from the main town centre. While we provide complimentary Wi-Fi, uninterrupted connectivity and high speeds cannot be guaranteed due to our remote terrain. Additionally, the region occasionally experiences rural power fluctuations. We have backup generators on-site to minimize inconveniences, but these fluctuations may temporarily affect high-load electrical appliances like ACs and water geysers.

Couples-Only Atmosphere & Driver Policy
To maintain absolute quiet and complete privacy for our traveling couples, Shubhraangan is strictly a couples-only property. We are unable to accommodate or host personal drivers for overnight stays on the premises. If you are traveling with a driver, arrangements must be made by you for their overnight accommodation at nearby lodges off-property.

Our Commitment to Sustainability
As a nature-immersed retreat, we are deeply committed to protecting our beautiful rural environment by actively reducing plastic waste. We thoughtfully employ eco-conscious practices throughout your stay to ensure our footprint remains as light as possible:

• Bath & Body: We utilise premium, refillable dispensers for hand wash, shampoo, and body wash in our cabins to eliminate the waste of single-use mini plastic bottles.
• Personal Care: To further minimise disposable plastics, we do not provide single-use dental kits. We kindly encourage guests to pack their own personal oral care essentials for their stay.
• Drinking Water: We provide complimentary, safe drinking water via an RO filtration system, served in reusable bottles. Our local team is always available and happy to assist with refilling your water whenever needed. If you strictly prefer factory-sealed PET water bottles, we can arrange to purchase them from the local village shop upon request (additional charges apply).
